How to reach Montpellier
- By plane: Montpellier Méditerranée International Airport is located 10km from the city center. Eleven daily flights connect Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Orly-Ouest in 1h10. Direct connections connect Lyon and Nantes. A shuttle connects the airport to the city.
- By train: Several daily high-speed trains connect Montpellier to Paris in 3h30. Montpellier is deserved by two train stations:
- Montpellier Saint-Roch, located in the city center
- Montpellier Sud de France, located in the outskirts. The city center can be reached in 20 minutes by tram
- By road: By the A9 motorway, Montpellier is about 700km from Paris. Take Exit 28 (Vendargues), then follow signs to Montpellier / Hôpitaux-Facultés.Come
How to reach the venue
- From the airport: A shuttle (bus line 620) will drop you in 15 minutes to the tram station “Place de l’Europe” (line 1 and 4). Then take the tram line 1, direction Mosson. Get off at the “Château d’Ô” stop on Avenue des Moulins, near the Saint Priest campus. Total journey time: 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- From the Montpellier Saint-Roch train station:
- Tram: Take the tramway (line 1) in front of the train station, direction Mosson, get off at the “Château d’Ô” stop located on Avenue des Moulins, near the LIRMM. Journey time: 30 minutes.
- Bus: Take the number 6 bus, in the direction of Euromédecine, stop at “St. Priest”. Journey time: 30 minutes. Buses 6 and 7 have a “Château d’O” stop.
- From the “Chateau d’Ô” tram stop: Go up the Avenue des Moulins for 200 meters (along the rails of the tram), then cross the Avenue to go up Rue de Saint Priest towards CINES. Walking time: 10 minutes.
